Houston Lutheran Chorale in Concert at LOL – Saturday, December 7, 7:30 p.m.

Lord Of Life is hosting a holiday concert by the Houston Lutheran Chorale.  They will perform Bach’s Cantata 140 (“Sleepers, Awake!”) as well as seasonal arrangements by John Rutter, Paul Manz, Dan Forrest, and more.  Admission is free.

Sunday, December 15 (at 8:20, 9:45 and 11:05am)
The Lord Of Life Choir presents The Word Became Flesh by Dan Goeller. With narration and a sweeping orchestral score, this work features familiar tunes as well as new choral compositions. This musical exploration of the Incarnation begins with creation and God’s perfect plan for fellowship with humankind. This divine plan, interrupted by The Fall, continues with God promising a Savior who will save his people from their sins. The story ends with a glorious celebration of the birth of this Savior, Jesus, the Word Incarnate.
